Mrs. Maureen Mullings-Nelson serves in the capacity of the University College Practicum Placement Officer. As Practicum Placement Officer, her roles include but are not limited to
Organizing activities with the cooperating teachers/site supervisors
Developing a profile for each cooperating school/industry firm to aid in the appropriate placement of student teachers to schools/firms and arranging for the placement for student teachers in relation to the school’s/firm’s profile;
Developing and implementing strategies to increase the number of cooperating schools and participating industry firms;
Maintaining effective communication with the cooperating schools/industry firms
