Student Field Experience Officer

Responsibilities

TBA serves in the capacity of the University College Student Field Experience Officer. As Student Field Experience Officer, she supports students’ transition, progression and retention, and ensures students have a positive experience at each step in their university career. Her role includes but is not limited to

  • Organizing activities with the cooperating teachers/site supervisors
  • Developing a profile for each cooperating school/industry firm to aid in the appropriate placement of student teachers to schools/firms and arranging for the placement for student teachers in relation to the school’s/firm’s profile;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase the number of cooperating schools and participating industry firms
  • Maintaining effective communication with the cooperating schools/industry firms
